Updated Showreel + CV
Just a small post – I have updated my Showreel and CV to bring them fully up to date. And a new site design to match!

This project was a chance to focus on some areas in which i hadnt had much experience – in particular smoke / dust and papers!
Also some 2.5d compositing in nuke for the backplate was a nice challenge.

MA Project – Ghost House
Very excited to be starting the MA project we’ve been leading up to this last year!
The final idea and plan i have decided on is as follows:
A ghost lady haunts the now abandoned and desolate building she once lived in, guiding her way with real candles. As she moves through we see the building regain the beauty it once had.
– The aim is create a singular camera move, from the top floor straight down to the bottom
– The backplate will be a mixture of 2d, 3d and live action
– The lady will be shot on greensceen and highly stylised for a ghost aesthetic
– 3D and 2D will be used for the ghost as well as the building transition
Along with this we have handed in full week by week plans for the project to stick to, so the pressure is on. I’ll try and update the site weekly for the duration!

Dude! Wheres My Music? Titles
Created some 3d titles for a documentary called “Dude! Wheres My Music?” for use in trailers etc..
We ended up choosing the three in the video: text dropping, text coming together and a cool text zoom!

DET – Lightning Powers

Rendering! So time to update..
Glad to say i’m busy rendering out the cg elements of my Underwater project at bournemouth university so have some free time for a change!
First essay is done and handed in, and three weeks today i will be saying that about the first major project (which is going extremely well at the moment).
Hope to have some stills / work in progress uploaded soon. For now..
Raindrop Animation – Finished!
My small summer projects finished just in time for university. Had great fun with it and learnt a lot, particuarly loved trying out volume rendering and simulating flip fluids!
